Mystery of "Pinole" Foot Deodorant Video
Internet searches can lead to all sorts of never-imagined results. We found a Youtube video posted by elizecosmotaiwan about a foot spray called "Pinole." It made us curious about the product name.
In hope of an easy answer, we ran the text that accompanies the video through Google Translate. We asked the translator to detect the orignal language. It said the language is Chinese and it gave us:
"Japanese professional deodorant brand Pinole, lightly spray embarrassing shoes smell Bai Bai! Are applicable to all types of shoes. With the composition of silver ions can be effective decomposition odor, so that the shoes, the shoe to keep fresh. Alice Zi Corporation sole agent."
Huh? No apparent connection to our town.
So, because the Chinese translation described "Pinole" as a Japanese product, we tried a Japanese-to-English translation. We got this even weirder result:
