The split-toe look in the latest models of running shoes have plagued the general consumer world, and now you can wear them during the summer too. Introducing Sazzi's Digit and Decimal sandals.
Take a second to admire the shoes you see above this post. They’re… attractive, huh? The “toe shoe” movement has become so popular that the trend has now arrived in sandal forms, letting your toes run free and air out during the summer.
The creators of these brightly colored footwear is Sazzi, the same people behind Teva sandals. Its inspiration for the latest summer lineup? Ancient civilization.
“The Anasazi, ancestors to the Hopi people, were truly ahead of their time,” a statement on the Sazzi official site read. “Their sandals utilized two toe posts to stabilize their feet for the hardcore terrain of the ‘Four Corners Canyon Lands’ region in which they lived. Like the Anasazi, we understand the advantages of multiple toe posts including unmatched lateral stability and comfort. Sazzi has merged the ancient with the modern in its new four toe posted footwear line.”
