Look hot 'n' feel cool

The sun is at his best, and everyone is looking to sum up a stylish yet comfy look. This summer, bright colours and light fabrics highlight comfort over fashison. The shape is baggy and saggy, and the mode is simple and chic. Let the tight denims, leather boots and full sleeves sleep for now. Replenish your shelves with shorts, wide-brimmed hats, sporty caps, big bags and casual sandals.
Cotton is softer and linen is lighter, not crisp and coarse. Prints are jolly and flowery. Colours go pallid with lemon yellow, sky blue and mango green. Tunics and kurtis for women and polo shirts for men are a must to beat the heat.
Thrill with frills
Look for volume in whatever you buy, especially the bottoms. Roomy, slouchy harem pants or the palazzo flares (think of Aladdin and Alif-laila) team up well with a light-weight shirt. “We have introduced a complete new line for teenage girls called Teen19,” says Amar Vora, Director of Milan-em Mall. “As we are targeting a niche segment, the response will definitely be good.”
