Whats better for tramping running shoes/trail shoes or tramping boots and why?
Ive been on a 2 day tramp before i wore trail running shoes. Im going on a 3 day tramp for school this weekend should i wear trail shoes or tramping boots. Whats so good about tramping shoes? are they comfy, dont get wet, blister proff ect?
It depends on if speed is a requirement. If the tramp is leisurely then I would recommend boots. The boot supports the ankle over roots and rocks and through dense underbrush the added protection of a leather boot is a plus. Might I recommend this one:
