These boots weren't made for running in

GRAVITY rather than a poor pitch foiled Christian Wade’s attempts to add to his try against Exeter on Saturday.
The young winger slipped at a vital moment with the try-line at his mercy, as did team-mate Richard Haughton.
But Wade said it was a question of balance rather than slipping over on an overly-watered pitch.
He said: “It can be hard [to stay up] even though we have studs. It depends on the angle of the step, it could be a really sharp angle and the studs aren’t going to be able to hold.
“The pitch was actually a very good surface. It was nothing to do with the pitch, it’s probably the rules of gravity.”
Despite defeat Wade said Saturday’s game had gone well for him and the rest of the side, even if the season hadn’t as a whole.
He said: “It’s been hard for us. We’ve had a lot of injuries and a smaller squad than many of the teams in the Premiership. We’ve done our best with what we’ve got. We’ve had to bring a lot of
young players through and they have stepped up to the plate and we’ve had some good performances.
